# Cookies & device storage

The necessary session cookie and local quote-list storage used by SWELUP, and how to clear them.

## Necessary session

**swelup_session** is an HttpOnly, SameSite=Lax cookie used to protect inquiry submission and retrieve a recent result. It expires after eight hours. Production HTTPS responses also mark this cookie Secure. The cookie contains a random identifier, not your contact fields.

## Quote list on your device

**swelup_quote_v1** is local browser storage containing selected catalogue references, quantities and configuration requests. It remains until you clear it or your browser removes site storage. It does not contain the contact fields entered in the inquiry form.

## No optional tracking

This release does not load analytics, advertising pixels, third-party fonts or video embeds. Sending an inquiry does not subscribe you to marketing. If optional tracking is added later, this notice and the relevant controls will need updating before activation.

## Clear storage

Use Privacy settings in the footer to clear the quote list. You can also remove this site's cookies and local storage through your browser. Clearing browser storage does not erase an inquiry already saved on the server. Contact [sales@swelup.com](mailto:sales@swelup.com) about a submitted record.
